The goal of the Beacon Food Forest is to design, plant and grow an edible urban forest garden that inspires our community to gather together, grow our own food and rehabilitate our local ecosystem.
Volunteers will work on the grounds of the Food Forest to help grow, maintain and expand the public vegetable garden and edible landscape, and help with soil building and construction of walls for the 1.5 acre expansion of the site.
Come ready to work and wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
Please register below by Monday, April 15.
