San Francisco-Marin Food Bank Service Project
Saturday, April 13, 2019 9 - 11 a.m.
San Francisco-Marin Food Bank 900 Pennsylvania Ave. San Francisco, CA 94107 Map and Directions
The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin.
Volunteers will be working in the warehouse. Projects typically involve sorting fresh produce, packaging bulk foods, assembling grocery boxes for seniors, and sorting donations from food drives.
Closed-toe shoes are required at all volunteer projects. We suggest dressing in casual and clean layers, as the temperature in the warehouse is often cool. Minimum age is 8 years old.
Please park on Pennsylvania Ave. and the surrounding streets outside of the Food Bank, leaving the lot open for partners picking up food. Parking is currently very limited and inconsistent due to construction in the area. Utilize ride-sharing, cabs, or public transportation whenever possible.
Volunteers should enter the building through the Receiving Entrance on the south side of the building near the loading dock and sign in upon arrival. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift.
Please register below by Saturday, April 6.
