Friends of the Wissahickon is a 94-year-old nonprofit membership organization that protects and enhances Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Park, a 1,800-acre urban oasis of dramatic scenery, dense forests, rugged trails and free-flowing streams.

We are joining volunteers from Friends of the Wissahickon to clean the northernmost part of Wissahickon Creek Park. After the cleanup, all volunteers are invited to meet up for a picnic at Fort Washington State Park.

Children are welcome; if they are under the age of 14 they must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear sturdy boots/sneakers, long pants, clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, sun protection (we hope!) - a hat and sunscreen.

Please register below by Monday, April 22.
