Classroom Central is an organization serving more than 127,000 students and their teachers across six school districts in 199 high-poverty schools in North and South Carolina.

Celebrate #AllinforDavidson by participating in our service project on campus! Join students, faculty, and staff in preparing flashcards, art kits and pencil pouches for use by Classroom Central in Charlotte.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Service Project

Our Towns Habitat for Humanity partners with future homeowners, volunteers and donors to build permanent affordable housing solutions in North Mecklenburg and Iredell counties.

We will assist the Cornelius ReStore with building display racks for sinks and other daily ReStore tasks. We will also clean out the double-wide unit behind the Our Towns office so that it can be converted into a homeowner education center.

Snacks and water will be provided but please bring a water bottle. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for the setting (boots or sturdy athletic shoes, long pants/shorts, shirt with sleeves - fitted or tucked in, long hair pulled into a ponytail. No special tools or equipment are required but work gloves are recommended. Children ages 14 and up are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Please complete the volunteer waiver form and bring it with you on the day of the service project.
