For the fifth straight year, alumni and families across the country will engage in their communities during Davidson Volunteer Week, April 6-14, 2019. Join Service Coordinator Carol Yeomans Horowitz '77 and alumni, families and friends for one or more of the following projects.

The Coastal Discovery Museum works to create greater environmental awareness, increase knowledge and understanding of our history and culture, and to create a more sustainable future.
On Monday or Tuesday, volunteers will help unload a truckload of plants for the Native Plant Sale. On Saturday, we will assist customers with finding and/or carrying plants during the Native Plant Sale, helping direct people to appropriate parking, and other chores as needed.

The Deep Well Project helps people in emergency situations by giving them an immediate hand up, so they can continue to help themselves. The Deep Well Project helps by providing basic assistance in emergency situations as a hand up, not as a hand out.
On Friday, April 12, we will help clients 'shop' at the Deep Well facility. On Saturday, May 11, we will help sort and organize donations on Letter Carrier Day when large numbers of donations typically come in.
