Ben Franklin Community Garden 1905 Spring Road Cleveland, OH 44109 (behind Ben Franklin Elementary School) Map and Directions
For nearly four decades the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation has been involved in helping to develop and maintain this remarkable five acre site, the largest community garden in all of Cuyahoga County. This community garden provides over 5,000 pounds of food to six homeless and senior centers in Cleveland. Davidson connection includes service project coordinator Steve Morris who serves on the Finance Committee.
We will be assisting Old Ben Franklin Community Gardens with pre- season gardening maintenance. Please wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty, long sleeves, pants, and closed-toed shoes.
For questions and to RSVP contact Steve Morris at rsmfreepub@gmail.com or 917-916-4579. Please RSVP by Saturday, April 13.
Davidson Volunteer Week is made possible by DavidsonServes for Life, our volunteer-led alumni and families civic engagement initiative.
