Map and Directions

The Central Texas Food Bank's mission is to nourish hungry people and lead the community in the fight against hunger. Together with donors, volunteers, and national partners, they share free food and knowledge on low-cost, healthy eating with families in need; assist families who qualify for federal assistance programs; and make food affordable for charitable and government partners.

As warehouse volunteers, we will help ensure all the food that the Central Texas Food Bank distributes is safe, healthy and high quality. We will inspect, clean, sort, box, and make food donations ready for distribution to partner agencies and the families they serve across our region.

Please click here to register for the event. (Also, please email Gretchen if you plan on attending.) All volunteers will need to create their  own individual accounts/sign-ups using this link. The Warehouse shift will appear on this page; click “sign up” to register for the event. Please watch this video prior to volunteering. Policy requires that all volunteers be in appropriate attire in order to enter the work space. Please dress comfortably; anyone wearing sleeveless tops or open-toed shoes will not be permitted into the warehouse to volunteer. Warehouse volunteers must be age 8 and up.
