11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Beautiful RVA
Location: TBA (registrants will be notified closer to the date)

5th District Mini Farm is a community farm designed by Ginter Urban Gardener Randy Minor in Swansboro, Richmond, Virginia. The goal is to grow as much food intensively as possible to feed hungry people in the greater Richmond Metro area.

Volunteers will be doing various garden tasks like watering, planting, weeding, harvesting, composting, and building structures.

Join us for planting, composting, weeding and general site improvements and learn how to farm within the city at the same time!

Wear clothing appropriate for gardening and brush, which may include long pants, closed toe shoes, bringing garden gloves and water (and any garden tools you don’t mind lending for the day), and wearing a hat, bug spray, and sunscreen.

Please register below by Monday, April 16.
