The mission of the Crescent City Cafe is to serve breakfast to New Orleans’ homeless and low-income residents with dignity. Jobs are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis, and include: Servers (interact with guests in the front of house, take orders, serve food and drinks) Cooks and expos (prepare food in the kitchen, rotate to be able to interact with guests) Dishwashers (wash dishes in the kitchen, rotate to be able to interact with guests) Hosts (seat guests in the front of house) Bussers (interact with guests while clearing tables and refilling beverages in the front of house) Drinks and hall monitor (manages beverage station, monitors traffic in the hallway, rotates to be able to interact with guests). You must be 18+ to volunteer. Feel free to bring friends and family members (who are 18+) and wear comfortable clothes.
