Yard Angels Service Project

We will be working on the lawn of a woman in her 80's named Lucy.)

Davidson alumni and family volunteers will be working with the Yard Angels program to help low-income seniors, age 60+, with raking, weeding, mowing, trimming small trees or bushes, cleaning gutters and general yard cleaning. These simple chores can result in injury or health risks for many seniors, while neglecting their yards can lead to city fines. Volunteers are invaluable to help these seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. Minors are welcome with a parental consent form.

Meals on Wheels is a program that delivers meals to individuals at home who are unable to purchase or prepare their own meals. We will be making deliveries around the Denver area. After you RSVP, please email Sarah Bennett '10 to indicate whether you would like to be a lead vehicle or would prefer to carpool so we can work together as a team!
