Saturday, April 14, 2018 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Habitat for Humanity Charlotte Location: 4240 Springs Oak Drive Charlotte, NC 28208 Map and Directions
Volunteers will construct walls and begin preparing for roof trusses. AGE REQUIREMENT: 16 and older. 16 and 17 year-old volunteers cannot use power tools, work at heights six feet and above, or do any work in the crawl space. Attendance limited to the first 15 who register.

Catawba Lands Conservancy Carolina Thread Trail Location: Freedom Park 1900 East Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28203 Map and Directions
Special Event Support - Pop-Up Picnic: 3 different shift options 3:30 - 6:30 p.m., 4:30 - 7:30 p.m., and 6:30 - 9 p.m. Support a special event to celebrate community, local food, land conservation and trails. All volunteers will receive a Pop-Up Picnic t-shirt to wear on event and a dinner voucher to redeem at the food truck. Volunteers must be 16 years of age to help. Volunteers are required to attend an orientation on Wednesday, April 4 at from 6 - 7 p.m. or a conference call on Wednesday, April 11 from 12 -1 p.m.

Does your employer offer time off for community service projects or do you have time on a weekday afternoon? Come join us! Volunteers will inspect, sort and pack donated products so that we can distribute to 700 partner agencies including homeless shelters, emergency pantries and soup kitchens. All Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older. Attendance limited to the first 15 who register.
