Orlando Union Rescue Mission 1521 W. Washington St. Orlando, FL 32805 Click here for map and directions.
The Orlando Union Rescue Mission is a faith-based organization that offers long-term residential programs to homeless men, women and children. For 69 years, it has provided the education, training, counseling and other assistance to equip its guests to become independent and self-sufficient for the rest of their lives. The Mission provides all its services – housing, meals, education, child care, pre-school, after-school activities for all school-age children, and other programs - free to its guests. It accepts no government funds, and depends on its volunteers and donors.
Our group will provide general spring clean-up and landscape planting services, including the installation of sod and the planting of annual flower beds. Additionally, we will provide a children’s fun day for the preschool children living at the Mission. There are 23 guests five years and under living there now.
Please register below by Tuesday, April 18.
