For a third straight year, alumni across the country will engage in their communities during Davidson Volunteer Week, April 21-30, 2017. Join Dallas Service Chair Sara Leffingwell '14 and Dallas Chapter President Lauren Cunningham '09 and alumni, parents and friends for one or both of these Dallas area service projects.

ReStores are nonprofit home improvement and décor stores that engage the community with on-site donation and volunteer opportunities. Locally owned and operated, 100% of the profits support Dallas Habitat’s mission to revitalize neighborhoods through the anchoring hope of affordable home ownership.
Volunteers will be organizing the stockroom, stocking shelves, inventory management or assisting customers.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden Service Project

Forth Worth Botanic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in Texas, with 110 acres and 22 specialized gardens. We will do work in the gardens, such as planting flowers, spreading mulch and prepping flower beds.Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle and pair of work gloves. Friends and family are welcome to join!
We'll meet at the front desk of the Moncrief Garden Center. Free parking is available.
