First Light works with homeless women and their children to create hospitality in a safe and nurturing community to encourage them to maintain dignity, find hope, seek opportunity and grow spiritually, thereby achieving their full potential.

Birmingham alums will serve dinner to approximately 70 women and children living at First Light. Children are welcome to join for this project if accompanied by an adult. Free street parking is available near the shelter. Even if you are unable to attend, please consider contributing to the cost of the meal we will provide.
