MANNA FoodBank is a private, not-for-profit service organization, that links the food industry with over 200 partner agencies in 16 counties of Western North Carolina. MANNA (Mountain Area Nutritional Needs Alliance) is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization.

Our group will sort and pack food donations. In 2015, over 7,400 volunteers provided 65,736 hours of support to MANNA — the equivalent of 31.6 full time staff! Groups are often engaged in sorting donated product, repackaging bulk food items, or putting together our weekly MANNA packs.

Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes, and those younger than 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (aged 18 or older). Volunteers between the age of 16 and 18 may volunteer without an adult, but must present MANNA with a release signed by their guardian.

Please register below by Tuesday, April 18.
