Join the Philadelphia chapter for a rewarding afternoon of community service with Sharing Excess at Malcolm X Memorial Park. Sharing Excess works to combat food waste and insecurity by distributing surplus food directly to communities in need. Watch this video to learn more about the organization and its incredible impact.
During our time with them, we will assist with setting up tents, tables and produce boxes, and distributing fresh food to community members—no questions asked. Whether you are a sustainability advocate or simply looking to give back, you won't want to miss this hands-on experience helping to nourish our Philadelphia neighbors!
