Get ready to make a difference in the community! The Washington, DC regional chapter invites you to join us for a service project at DC Central Kitchen, where we’ll spend the morning prepping meals for those in need. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back and while meeting other alumni in the area.

Sign up for your volunteer spot here. Make sure to sign up for correct group by following these steps:

1. Select the “Create an Account for Group Registration” option
2. Follow the correct prompts to proceed. When you choose “Type of Volunteer Experience” be sure to select Corporate/Organization. Then search for your group “Davidson College Alumni Group” in the portal/search bar.
3. Continue to fill in the additional requested information.
4. Digitally sign our General Liability and Waiver form. Note: The COVID-19 Vaccine Attestation form is optional.
5. Select the “Sign Up” tab at the top of the screen to go to the calendar and view shifts. Select the June 29: 9am – 12pm Food Prep Shift then click the “sign up” button. After completing this, you are signed up and all set.

A few details to note:

• Volunteers must be 12 and older
• All volunteers need to sign a waiver; parents/guardians must sign for minors
• You should be able to stand for the 3-hour shift (benches are available for breaks)
• No heavy lifting involved
