Join John Corso-Esquivel, Chair and Associate Professor of Art, Lia Newman, Director/Curator of the Van Every/Smith Galleries and other select Davidson staff on a visual arts excursion to Dallas and Fort Worth, TX.

This trip, hosted by the Davidson College Art Collection Advisory Committee, is open to alums, parents and friends. Registration is now open!

Please register by Feb. 28. Space is limited to the first 30 travelers to register.

Trip participants will enjoy exclusive tours led by prominent curators and Davidson faculty. The excursion will include opportunities to see art spanning several centuries at some of the city's most dynamic institutions, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Amon Carter Museum of American Art, Kimbell Art Museum, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Nasher Sculpture Center, Meadows Museum and tour the Dallas Cowboys Art Collection AT&T Stadium.

Activities will begin with an introductory breakfast on Thursday, March 20 and conclude after dinner on Saturday, March 22. 

The cost of the trip is $1795 per person. This includes all museum experiences, tour-related transportation and a fantastic array of meals at celebrated Dallas restaurants. The price does not include hotel (see below), transportation to Dallas/Fort Worth or transportation to/from the airport.

Accommodations
Staff and faculty will be based at HALL Arts Hotel Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton. Out-of-town guests wishing to stay at HALL Arts should reserve their room directly through the hotel or their preferred third-party travel site. Live locally or want to choose a different hotel? No problem, however, trip participants should plan to meet the group each morning at HALL Arts for breakfast and/or bus pick-up.

Additional nearby hotels include: JW Marriott Dallas Arts District, Fairmont Dallas, Dallas Marriott Downtown and Sheraton Dallas Hotel, among others.

Cancellations will be accepted until 5 p.m. ET on Feb. 17 with a 50 percent refund. Cancellations made after Feb. 17 are non-refundable. Please reach out if you have extenuating circumstances, and we will do our best to assist.
