As artificial intelligence (AI) is changing our economic, political, and social landscape, we will host a Deliberative Forum on this topic in early February. Forum participants will learn more about this technology and the benefits and risks associated with it, and then deliberate together about how we should shape our practices and policies relating to it. The forum will start with a one-hour expert panel discussion. Following the panel, participants will deliberate among themselves in facilitated small group discussions (in person or via Zoom) about this important topic. All registrants will receive the DCI’s deliberation guide, which will provide background to inform these discussions.
The guiding question for our forum will be, “Artificial Intelligence: How should we relate to it as individuals, communities, and policymakers?”

The panel will be moderated by Dr. Sara Copic, Assistant Director of the DCI. Learn more on the DCI Blog.
