Join Kenzie Barrow Warren '10 and Chapter Presidents Randall Mardus '99 and Brianna Butler Burton '11, and alumni, parents and friends for one of our service projects.
Street Soccer USA Service Project

Street Soccer USA fights poverty and empowers under-served communities through soccer by providing an alternative to the pay-to-play model of youth sports with a focus on social impact across the United States and beyond. Street Soccer USA Davidson connections include Lawrence Cann ’00 (founder) and Cory Lester ’05 (NYC board member).
Street Soccer USA staff and volunteers will reconstruct a soccer park in the Red Hook, Brooklyn neighborhood comprising of two soccer courts.We will be putting together the flooring and connecting the walls. The project will take around 3-4 hours and once complete staff and volunteers will take time to play and celebrate on the newly constructed park with the community.

Room to Grow's mission is to enrich the lives of children born into poverty. Volunteers will help sort and clean donated baby items, including clothes, books and toys.
Join us afterward for drinks and conversation at John Doe's on 5th Avenue between 28th & 29th Street in Manhattan.
